Mushroom Fields (mushroom islands) are widely considered the rarest overworld biome. Ice Spikes, Bamboo Jungle, Cherry Grove, and Sunflower Plains are also very rare or uncommon. Sunflower Plains and Flower Forest are uncommon but not as scarce as Mushroom Fields.

Does this biome finder work for Bedrock Edition?

This tool uses the cubiomes library which calculates Java Edition biome positions. Bedrock Edition uses a different terrain generation algorithm, so results will not match Bedrock worlds.

How accurate are the biome coordinates?

The coordinates are accurate to within the biome sample resolution (typically 32–64 blocks depending on search radius). Use the full MC Seed View map for exact block-level biome boundaries.

How to Use the Minecraft Biome Finder

Enter your seed, choose the biome you want to find, and click Find. The color-coded map renders all surface biomes for your seed. Found locations are marked with white circles — the table below lists their exact coordinates sorted by distance from the center.

Tips for Finding Rare Biomes

Mushroom Fields: Very rare. Increase radius to 8,000–16,000 blocks if nothing appears at the default radius.
Ice Spikes: Found inside Snowy Plains. Try radius 4,000–8,000 blocks.
Badlands / Mesa: Appear near deserts and savannas. Usually within 5,000 blocks of spawn.
Cherry Grove: Added in 1.20. Found in mountain terrain. Common enough that 4,000 blocks usually suffices.
Bamboo Jungle: Smaller than normal Jungle. Try 4,000–8,000 blocks.
